Indulge in a transformative immersion into the world of fiber processing. This Barn to Yarn Experience takes you through every stage of the textile journey - from the animals in the pasture to the finished skein. Under the expert guidance of Chris, you’ll explore both home-based techniques and professional commercial processing in an intimate, hands-on setting.

Restored 1916 Schoolhouse
More than a hotel, more than dining, more than classes, more than an event center. The Nome Schoolhouse is all of these - and more. The lower level has a full working fiber mill, creating felted products, yarns, fiber arts kits and more. The renovated gym has room for receptions, trade shows and concerts.
Outside there is the renovated barn with the growing fiber flock including sheep and alpacas. There's even seasonal camping with electrical hookups available. Experience the charm of the past with the comforts of today while you learn, rest, relax and recharge.
