A Destination Like No Other
Nestled in the heart of rural North Dakota, our beautifully renovated 1916 schoolhouse is a historic destination featuring a boutique hotel, farm-to-table restaurant, event center, and education center. And at the heart of our story is the Barn to Yarn Experience. Here, you can meet our growing herd of fiber animals and tour our lower-level wool processing mill to watch raw fleece transform into beautiful yarn firsthand. Restored 1916 Schoolhouse
More than a hotel, more than dining, more than classes, more than an event center. The Nome Schoolhouse is all of these - and more. The lower level has a full working fiber mill, creating felted products, yarns, fiber arts kits and more. The renovated gym has room for receptions, trade shows and concerts.
Outside there is the renovated barn with the growing fiber flock including sheep and alpacas. There's even seasonal camping with electrical hookups available. Experience the charm of the past with the comforts of today while you learn, rest, relax and recharge.
