Immerse yourself in the calming, meditative practice of Sashiko embroidery during this two-day retreat at the historic Nome Schoolhouse. Guided by award-winning artist Jeane Vogel, you'll explore the traditional Japanese technique of Sashiko, learning to create stunning patterns with simple yet meaningful stitches. This class is perfect for both beginners and experienced stitchers, offering a blend of cultural exploration, history, and hands-on practice.

About the Artist:
Stitching and weaving are calming, meditative practices. Jeane Vogel is an award-winning artist who infuses her work with a sense of comfort and warmth. Her woven pieces and stitched photographs are celebrated and collected across North America and Europe. As a Fellow in the Jewish Art Salon and a member of the American Guild of Judaic Art and Women's Caucus for Art, Jean brings a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to her teaching.
