School Brick Wall

Nome Wildcat
Room 2 - Double queen plus futon
With a recreated chalkboard and decor consisting of trophies, pictures, the school newspaper, report cards, and more – We hope you feel a sense of school pride when staying in the Wildcat room. This room also includes a pull out bed for one.

Charlotte's Web
Room 9 - Double Queen Plus Rollaway
With decor that draws inspiration from a childhood favorite – Charlotte’s web – this room boosts adorable and unique wall hangings and decor. Enjoy a small sitting area – maybe enjoy a good book while you are here.

Cardinal Room
Room 10 - Single Queen Plus Rollaway
While Room 1 also includes an original exterior wall – this one carries even more history. As high school students snuck out onto the flat roof that covered the elementary rooms on the main floor, they would dip their fingers in the tar that attached the roof and leave their mark. How many initials and names can you find still written in black among the bricks?

M & M Suite
Room 11 - Single King
The original Grade 9 & 10 classroom, the M&M Classroom Suite retains the chalkboards and woodwork. The door has been used by students for decades and now welcomes you to this luxurious room with a view.
Our suite features a King Size Sleep Number Bed, a sitting area with a couch and rocking chair, as well as a circular table and two chairs. The nightstands are antique sewing machines. The spacious bathroom features a rainfall shower, a sink from a local farmhouse, and a classroom mural that you must see.
Our next-door neighbors, Mike and Mary, have been supportive of the renovation project from the beginning and generously sponsored this Suite. Mike attended the Nome Schoolhouse until 3rd grade when the school closed. With a nod to M&M, you will find everyone’s favorite candy treats.
